Partial decomposed body of senior citizen found in canal; Murder suspected

Nanjangud/Malkundi: The partial decomposed body of a senior citizen, who had gone missing has been found Rampura Canal near Bidaragudu in the taluk and the Police have suspected that the senior citizen may have been murdered.

The deceased is Shivarajappa (60), a resident of Gowdarahundi village in the taluk. Shivarajappa had gone missing about four days ago and a missing complaint was lodged at Hullahalli Police Station.

Superintendent of Police (SP) C.B. Ryshyanth, ASP Shivakumar, Dy.SP Govindaraju, Circle Inspector Lakshmikanth Talawar, Sub-Inspector Chandru visited the spot. 

The Police conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.

Deceased Shivarajappa’s son Pavan Kumar has lodged a complaint with Hullahalli Police, who have taken two suspects into custody and are interrogating them.
