Documentary on making of Parva to be launched online

Mysore/Mysuru: The seven-hour-30-minute mega play ‘Parva,’ the theatre adaptation of one of the masterpieces of Novelist Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa by the same name, was staged in full length and also in 3 episodes — Adi Parva (2-hour-45-minute), Niyoga Parva (2-hour-15-minute) and Yudha Parva (3-hour) — at Rangayana in city in the month of March and received good response. 

Now, a documentary titled ‘Parva – Poorvaranga’ (Making of ‘Parva’), directed by P. Sheshadri, will be launched online on the Rangayana website [www.rangayana.org] on June 7 at 6.30 pm. In the 30-minute documentary, the theatre artistes will share their experience working for the mega play directed by Prakash Belawadi.
