Mysore/Mysuru: A woman patient losing her gold chain and cash at K.R. Hospital, has come to light lately.

The woman, who lost her 6-gram gold chain and cash, valued at Rs. 1 lakh, is Jayamma, a resident of K.R. Pet.

Following illness, Jayamma got herself admitted to K.R. Hospital last month and was undergoing treatment there. As she had to undergo scanning on Feb. 15, Jayamma, who removed the gold chain, placed it in her purse, kept the purse in her vanity bag and kept it near her bed before proceeding for scanning.

When she returned, it was found that her purse was missing from the vanity bag, following which her daughter lodged a complaint at Devaraja Police Station, who are investigating.
