Mysore/Mysuru: In a hit-and-run case, a pedestrian was killed when an unidentified vehicle rammed into him while crossing the Ring Road on Monday night. The unidentified pedestrian, aged between 45 and 50 years, was crossing the Ring Road near a bar and restaurant in J.P. Nagar at about 9.30 pm, when a speeding vehicle rammed into him and sped away.

Though the K.R. Traffic Police Station’s Highway Patrolling staff rushed the injured person to K.R. Hospital, the doctors, who examined the injured, declared him dead, said a Police Officer to Star of Mysore.

K.R. Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
