Pedestrian succumbs to injuries

Hunsur: An unidentified pedestrian, who suffered serious injuries when a bike rammed into him while he was walking on the roadside near Akshay Bhandar on Monday and was admitted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru, has breathed his last.

Soon after the incident, the bike rider left the bike (KA-04 AS-3441) behind and fled from the spot. Passersby, who saw the injured, admitted him to Hunsur General Hospital and was later shifted to K.R. Hospital for further treatment. But the unidentified person breathed his last on Tuesday, according to the Police.

The body has been shifted to MMC&RI Mortuary. Kith and kin of the deceased may contact Ph: 08222-253133 or 94808-05055.
