Permanent augmentation of trains with additional coach

Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to permanently augment one second class coach for Train No. 16527 Yesvantpur – Kannur Daily Express with effect from SEpt.5 from Yesvantpur end and Train No. 16528 Kannur – Yesvantpur Daily Express with effect from Sept. 6 from Kannur end.

The revised Train composition will have one AC 3-tier coach, two AC 2-tier coaches, 11 second class sleeper coaches, four second class coaches, two luggage cum brake van with generator.

Experimental stoppage at Malleshwaram

SWR has decided to provide temporary stoppage at Malleshwaram on experimental basis for a period of six months with effect from Sept. 7 to Mar.6, 2018 for Train No. 56925/56926 KSR Bengaluru – Tumakuru – KSR Bengaluru Passenger.

KSR Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Special

SWR has decided to run Train No. 06553/06554, KSR Bengaluru – Howrah – KSR Bengaluru Superfast Special on special fare.

Train No. 06553, KSR Bengaluru – Howrah Superfast Special on special fare departs KSR Bengaluru at 23:30 hrs. on Sept.7 (Thursday) and reaches Howrah at 10:55 hrs. on Sept.9 (Saturday). In return direction Train No. 06554, Howrah – KSR Bengaluru Superfast Special on special fare departs Howrah at 01:05 hrs. on Sept.10 (Sunday) and reaches KSR Bengaluru at 11:40 hrs. on Sept. 11 (Monday).

The Train will have stoppages at Bengaluru Cantt., Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Vijayawada, Rajamundry, Vishakapatnam, Vizianagram, Srikalulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Balugan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrakh, Balasore and Kharagpur in both directions.

The train composition will have one AC 2-tier coach, four AC 3-tier coaches, 14 second class sleeper coaches, two second class coaches, one Pantry Car and two luggage-cum-brakevan with disabled friendly compartment.
