Pet dog stolen from house in Dattagalli

Mysuru: Incidents of pet dogs being stolen from houses is on the rise in city, with the latest being a four-year-old pet Golden Retriever being stolen by miscreants from a house in Dattagalli here.

The pet dog belonged to one Manjula, an officer at National Insurance Company.

Manjula said that she had left the dog in the compound and had closed the gate. When she went to bring the dog inside after sometime, she found her pet missing and has suspected that her dog may have been stolen as the miscreants, after taking away the pet, had forgotten to close the gates.
