PGSC wins 3rd MIKabaddi tournament

In the 3rd edition of MIKabaddi tournament organised by MICA – Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts, PG Sports Council (PGSC), Manasagangothri, emerged winners while MICA team emerged runners up.

MICA Principal M.N. Ponnamma  and Sr. Faculty member  Shoba Venkatesan inaugurated the tournament. In all, 17 teams participated in the tournament, which included PGSC, Vidyavardhaka ITI, SJCE, MIT, MRIT, ATME, Maharaja’s, Mahajana, MICA, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Vidya Vikas College of Engineering. The winners and runners were presented a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively along with trophies.

Ajay of MICA, Yogesh of MICA and Madhu of PGSC were adjudged best rider, best catcher and all-rounder of the tournament, respectively.
