Ph.D awarded in Christianity

Mysuru: The University of Mysore has awarded Ph.D in Christianity to Rev. Fr. Bernard Prakash Barnis, Rector/Manager of St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru, for his thesis titled ‘Spirituality of  the Parish Priest in the context of Ministerial Priesthood’ submitted under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Dr. N. S. Marie Joseph.

Fr. Bernard Prakash hails from Doranahally, K.R. Nagar Taluk.  He received primary, secondary and higher secondary education at St. Rita’s Higher Primary School, Doranahally and St. Anthony’s High School, Doranahally respectively.

During his research, Fr. Bernard Prakash has published several research articles in journals.
