Mysore/Mysuru: The University of Mysore has awarded Ph.D in Chemistry to Sumana Y. Kotian for her thesis ‘Synthesis and Characterisation of Novel Compounds of Five Membered Heterocycles and Study of Their Liquid Crystalline Properties’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. K.M. Lokanatha Rai.

G. Sowmya has been awarded Ph.D in History by the University of Mysore for her thesis ‘Karnatakadalli Dalita Chaluvali Mattu Mahile 1970-2010’ [Guide: Dr. K. Sadashiva].
