Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Kannada to D.K. Usha for her thesis titled “Kannadada Mahila Athmakathegalu” submitted under the guidance of Dr. N.M. Talawar.   

H.P. Sachin has been awarded Ph.D in Commerce by the UoM for his thesis “Performance of minimum alternative tax: A study of selected companies in Karnataka” submitted under the guidance of Dr. T.S. Devaraja.

H.S. Prithvi Raj has been awarded Ph.D in Botany by the UoM for his thesis titled “Tissue culture and phytochemical analysis of Commelina benghalensis L. and  Passiflora caerulea L. — Medical plants” under the guidance of Dr. Shobha Jagannath.

R.P. Chaya has been awarded Ph.D in Folklore by the UoM for her thesis titled “Mandya Jilleya Raitha Mahile – Janapadhiya Nele” under the guidance of Dr.Vijayalakshmi.

Umesha has been awarded Ph.D in  Folklore by the UoM for his thesis titled “Heggadadevana Kote Talukina Janapada Vaidya”  [Guide: Dr.M.Nanjaiah Hoganur].

V. Suresh Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by the UoM for his thesis titled “H.S. Venkateshamurthy Avara Natakagalu” [Guide: Dr. B.P. Ashakumari].  

G. Anand has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by the UoM for his thesis titled “K. Sathyanarayan Avara Sahitya” [Guide: Dr B.P. Ashakumari].

P. Geetha has been awarded Ph.D in Ancient History and Archaeology by the UoM for her thesis titled “Malavalli Talukina Devalayagala Samskruthika Adhyayana” [Guide: Dr. K. Prabhu].

L.Geetha has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by UoM for her thesis “Kannada Dalitha Kadambarigalalli Grama Nagaragala Chitrana” [Guide: Dr. H.T. Venkateshamurthy].
