Rider killed after ramming bike into stationary lorry

Mysuru: A rider who suffered serious injuries after ramming his bike into a stationary lorry has breathed his last while being shifted to NIMHANS in Bengaluru on Tuesday night.

The deceased is Nagaraj (40), a resident of Srirangapatna in Mandya district. Nagaraj, along with his friend, was proceeding on the bike (KA-05 EV-5943) near Vidya Vikas College on Bannur Road, when the rider rammed the bike into a stationary lorry (KA-01 AB-9091) resulting in Nagaraj suffering serious injuries.

He was rushed to K.R. Hospital where he was provided treatment initially and was being shifted to NIMHANS, where he breathed his last midway. A case has been registered at Siddarthanagar Traffic Police Station.
