Mysuru: N.S. Virupaksha has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by  University of Mysore (UoM) for his thesis ‘A Comparative Analysis of Dairy Co-operatives in Karnataka’  under the guidance of Dr. S. Mahendra Kumar.

S.S. Kumuda has been awarded Ph.D in Zoology by the UoM for her thesis ‘Evaluation of Effects of Isolates From Two Plant Species on Culex Quinquefasciatus Say, the Bancroftian Filariasis Vector’  [Guide: Dr. V.A. Vijayan].
