Phalke awardee K. Vishwanath, nine others conferred Datta Peetha Title

Vajrotsava Day – 4: Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji is seen conferring ‘Datta Peetha Bandhu’ title on K.B. Ganapathy, Editor-in-Chief, Star of Mysore and Mysooru Mithra, at Nada Mantapa in Ganapathy Ashrama premises on Ooty Road in Dattanagar this morning, as part of the Diamond Jubilee and 75th birthday celebrations of Sri Ganapathy Swamiji and 19th anniversary of Nada Mantapa. On the occasion, the Datta Peetha Titles were also conferred on (from left) Asthana Chitrakara: K. Somashekhar, Bengaluru (Painter); Asthana Vidwan: Srikantha Dixit, Kollegal (Shaiva Aagama); Anantakrishna Amai, Bengaluru (Yajur Veda); Veda Nidhi: Sengalipuram Sundararama Deekshitar, Chennai (Yajur Veda Shrouta); Pravachana Nidhi: Aralumallige Partha Sarathi, Bengaluru; Kalanidhi: Phalke awardee K. Vishwanath, Hyderabad (Cinema); Asthana Vidwan: Sanjeev Abhyankar, Pune (Hindustani Vocal); Charumati Ramachandran, Chennai (Karnatak Vocal) and Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma, Bengaluru (Mridanga). Junior Pontiff Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji is also seen.
