Plastic heaps a threat to cows: Citizens wake up!

May 7, 2022

Sir,

On my journey to the College, a heap of dirt with plastics and a cow drew my attention. The milk yielding cow was consuming the plastic, which were thrown irresponsibly by the users. Eventually, this may result in the cow’s death as it may stop eating the regular food.

This can be prevented by placing STRONG separate dustbins for plastics with proper and strong lids, so that no animal can reach out to it.

The most crucial step is to be taken by the plastic users to throw the waste INSIDE the bins and to switch to the unharmful biodegradable bags.

I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned to create awareness among the people and the users to know their fault of throwing the waste items irresponsibly.
