Police Personnel and Home Guards cast Postal ballots

Mysuru: With the Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency going to the Polls on Apr.18, thousands of Police Personnel and Home Guards cast their Postal ballots at the CAR Grounds in city yesterday.

The Election Commission had made arrangements for Police Personnel and Home Guards who have been assigned poll duty, to exercise their franchise through Postal ballots.

As Policemen lined up at the DCP’s Office Hall in CAR Ground for exercising their franchise, Mysuru-Kodagu LS candidate Pratap Simha of the BJP sought votes, while Congress leaders K. Harish Gowda, Gopi and others appealed for votes to Congress candidate C.H. Vijayashankar.
