Police Sports: CAR wins Team Championship

The City Armed Reserve (CAR) team won the Team Championship at the Police Sports Meet which concluded at CAR Grounds here on Saturday.

In the Individual Best category, CAR Constable Mylari was adjudged the winner under Men’s Category while NR Sub-Division Constable K.P. Usha walked away with the honour under the Women’s Category. The list of  other winners is as follows:

Men’s category

4x100m Relay: 1st place – Lakshmi, Punyasri, Jyoti & Usha (KR); 2nd – Ratnamma, Shweta, Shilpa & Manasa (Devaraja).

Karnataka Police Academy  (KPA) Director Vipul Kumar distributed prizes to the winners. Priyanka Vipul Kumar, Police Commissioner Dr. A.S. Rao, DCPs N. Vishnuvardhana, Dr. Vikram V. Amathe, Chennaiah and others were present.
