On the occasion of Star of Mysore’s anniversary celebration, I want to THANK YOU KBG for being so generous in sending SOM copies to Pondicherry way back in 1998-99. Though I had thanked you personally at a gathering in Olive Garden, I thought our readers must know about your grateful act.

Way back in 1998 when I had to move to Pondicherry along with my husband from Mysore, I would miss reading SOM every evening. Right from my school days in 1987, I was used to reading SOM with a cup of tea.

I wrote a letter to you requesting for a copy of Star of Mysore to be delivered through post to Pondy. My wish was fulfilled. Like a Santa, you obliged and there I was in Pondy reading my favourite STAR sent by post free of cost.

Thanks for keeping us updated about our beautiful Mysore city. We realise the worth of our city only when we are away from it. Even when I was in USA for a year, I would read SOM online. I am proud to be a MYSOREAN.
