Poor bus service to Udayagiri

November 16, 2021

Sir,

I wish to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards the poor bus service for the residents of  Udayagiri.

There is a single bus numbered 153 which would be on a regular service. But a single bus isn’t enough for travelling of many people. Since the number of buses in the area is less, people have to wait for thirty minutes to an hour for the next bus.

Many a times there wouldn’t be a single bus in the afternoon even after waiting for an hour!!

Students of our area are worst affected as they are left with no other option than to hire expensive private modes of transport, such as private autorickshaws, taxis, etc.

First and foremost we need additional buses to our area which would provide regular service. The KSRTC authorities must take strict action to deploy more frequency of  buses at regular intervals in the peak morning, afternoon and evening hours.
