This is to bring to the notice of the concerned, regarding very poorly maintained footpath on both sides across the very recently laid tar road leading from Srirampura Preeti Layout junction to Outer Ring Road, touching RT Nagar.

This road is across the Lingambudhi Lake, where we can see many migrant birds in the evening. Otherwise a beautiful place to walk across or ride, due to non-maintenance of the footpath on both sides of the road, parthenium and other weeds have covered the entire footpath and is creating a problem for the vehicle riders also, as the road curves are blocked.

Of late, the area is becoming an accident-prone zone, with vehicles zooming in and since footpath is impossible to use, we see pedestrians walking on the road risking their lives.  Added to it, street lights are also not working.

Can the authorities concerned look into this and take corrective action of clearing footpaths of this road immediately?
