Post Mariyappa as CCB ACP: Tribunal

September 9, 2019

Mysuru: The Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) at Bengaluru has ordered the appointment of V. Mariyappa as the City Crime Branch (CCB) ACP.

Following the retirement of CCB ACP B.R. Lingappa in July, the State Government had appointed Mariyappa to the post. But the Govt. soon after withheld the movement order, following which Mariyappa moved the KAT.

KAT, which heard his plea, ordered that Mariyappa be posted as CCB ACP. It may be mentioned here that Mariyappa is a winner of the President’s Medal.
