Mysore/Mysuru: The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited online applications from students pursuing Post Graduation or any professional courses, for admission to its post-matric hostels. Last date to apply online is Jan. 20. For details, log on to https://bcwd.karnataka.gov.in OR call Ph: 0821-2342917, according to a press release from the Mysuru Taluk Backward Classes Welfare Department.

K.R. Nagar

The Backward Classes Welfare Department, K.R. Nagar, too has invited online applications from students belonging to Backward Classes, Nomad, Semi-Nomad, Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B communities for Post-Matric Student Scheme. Eligible students, who are pursuing Post-Matric courses in the year 2022-23, may apply before Jan. 20.

Also, applications have been invited for admission to Post-Matric Boys and Girls Hostels run by the Department. The admission is open to D. Devaraj Urs Post-Matric Boys and Girls Hostels at K.R. Nagar town and Post-Matric Boys and Girls Hostels at Saligrama. Last date to apply is Jan. 20.

T. Narasipur

The Backward Classes Welfare Department, T. Narasipur, has also invited online application from students belonging to Backward Classes, Category-1, Nomad, Semi-Nomad communities for Post-Matric Student Scholarship, fee concession and Vidyasiri (Food & Accommodation Scheme). Last date to apply is Jan. 31.
