Postponed SSLC exam to be held in May: Minister

Bengaluru: Even as suspense continues over the dates of the postponed English paper of II PUC and SSLC exams in the wake of nationwide lockdown, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar said that the exams are most likely to take place in May after the lockdown ends.

Speaking to presspersons here yesterday, Suresh Kumar said that the Government will announce fresh schedule of the exams once the lockdown gets over and the announcement will be made one-week before the start of the SSLC exam and the date of II PU English paper.

It may be mentioned here that the II PUC English paper which was to take place on Mar.23 and the SSLC exam which was scheduled to commence from Mar.27, were postponed  due to COVID-19 lockdown.
