Various organisations and fans celebrated the 50th birth anniversary of late actor ‘Power Star’ Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar (Appu) in city this morning. Members of Puneeth Rajkumar Fans Association distributed sweets to public in several localities, where the actor’s portraits were put up and floral tributes offered. A huge cut-out of the late actor has been installed on Devaraj Urs Road. Appu fans also burst crackers in front of Gayathri Talkies on Chamaraja Double Road which is screening ‘Appu,’ the first movie of Puneeth Rajkumar.
