Pramati Hillview Academy to offer free PU education for meritorious students

Mysuru: Pramati Hillview Academy, along with coaching candidates for competitive examinations, has decided to offer free PU education and applications have been invited for the same from eligible meritorious students.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Friday, Academy Head H.V. Rajeev recalled that the Academy, along with District Administration and Navodaya Foundation, had commenced the coaching of candidates for competitive examinations last year for which 500 candidates were short listed from over 2,000 who appeared for the two-stage test and ultimately 64 were selected.

He further said that the 64 selected candidates were provided free coaching with accommodation. He added that 35 of them were appearing for KAS Mains examination, four had written IAS Mains examination and the remaining have been selected for various jobs.

Continuing, Rajeev said that from this year, the Academy has decided to offer free education for PU along with coaching for IIT and NEET.

He further said that students who have scored more than 85% marks in Science and Mathematics in 9th standard and more than 90% marks in the said subjects in 10th standard will be allowed to continue PU education at the Academy who will also be coached for IIT and NEET.

Last date to submit application is Jan.15, 2018 and the qualifying written test will be held on Jan. 28 in city. The details of examination Centres will be uploaded on the Academy website on Jan.16.

Those appearing for the written test should get the admission ticket attested by the School Head. The interview date will be informed to students selected at the written test. For details, contact Ph: 0821-4246666 or 4246667, explained Rajeev.
