Mysore/Mysuru: The Art Club of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) had organised a one-day inter-college art exhibition ‘Prekshana’ at its Seminar Hall recently.

Chief guest K.S. Subhash, Artist at the Hobby Place, Mysuru, inaugurated the event which provided artists a common platform to display their art works. There were displays of paintings, charcoal arts, paper models, mandala arts, etc. Subhash glanced at all the artworks and interacted with the students and gave appreciations and suggestions to them. Total of 60 students from GSSIETW and other colleges in Mysuru city had participated in the event. The best four art pieces of the event were chosen.

Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, presided over the event. Faculties of GSSSIETW and more than 200 students appreciated the artworks.

The Art Club also distributed the soft copy of the ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ to all the participants. Visitors also enjoyed the games and sales arranged by the Club.
