Sir,

Footpath is a public property and privatisation of footpath causes immense trouble and nuisance to the public. A small stretch of the footpath under a shade tree on 9th Cross, V.V. Mohalla stands encroached by a resident by placing pieces of granite blocks.

This house has a small wicket gate and apparently just to harass the public they have placed the granite stones in front of their house. Vehicles parked on the footpath near this house will not cause any inconvenience to the  residents of this house.

I request  Mysuru City Corporation authorities to put a fullstop to all sorts of footpath encroachment by residents.
