Prize-winners of L&T Mysuru Painting Competition

Mysuru: Larsen & Toubro Limited, Mysuru Campus, had organised a painting competition at Cheluvamba Park in Vontikoppal here recently in memory of late Sushma Mukhija, wife of R.N. Mukhija, Ex-Member of L&T Board.

The painting competition with the theme ‘History of India’ was open for High School students (8th, 9th and 10th standard) of Mysuru Rural, South and North Blocks. A total of 575 students participated in the event.

Karuna Thukaram and Deena were judges for the competition.  

Umashankar Subramanya, Joint General Manager, L&T Mysuru, K. Nagaraja, Assistant General Manager, Administration & Plant Engineering, Punith, Horticulture Officer, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), attended the programme. Nagbhushan compared. Santhosh Shetty of Administration Department of L&T proposed a vote of thanks.

8th standard: R.G. Gokul, Amruth Vidyalaya – 1st prize; Asria, Huda Public School – 2nd prize; G.B. Akshay, VVV School – 3rd prize; M.C. Sanjula, Amruth Vidyalaya – Consolation prize 1; M.C. Sujay, VVV School – Consolation prize 2; Madeeha Simran, MESCO High School –  Consolation prize 3.

9th standard: M. Deekshitha, Batwalla Madavan School – 1st prize; Divya R. Darani, West Lions School – 2nd prize; Saaniya Rakesh, St. Joseph’s Central School – 3rd prize; S. Ananya, Cristhai King Convent – Consolation prize 1; Pradyana Gowda, CFTRI – Consolation prize 2; S. Ritishisha, GSSS – Consolation prize 3.

10th standard: Kavya B. Paniker, Lions School – 1st prize; Vishal, Hinkal Chikkamma School – 2nd prize; V.M. Dhanush, GJC Boys School – 3rd prize; H.M. Darshan, GHS Someswapura – Consolation prize 1; Razik Ali, GHS Varuna – Consolation prize 2; S. Nagendra, GSC Boys Najunagud – Consolation prize 3.
