Prohibitory orders today in city from 6 am till 10 pm

Mysore/Mysuru: In the wake of some unknown groups attempting to disturb law and order by calling for protests through social media networks, the City Police have enforced prohibitory orders under Section 144 Cr.PC today (Feb. 11).

City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta, in an order, said that the prohibitory orders will be in force from 6 am till 10 pm today in the limits of the City Police Commissionerate. Accordingly, all protests, rallies and demonstrations have been banned today across the city.

With prohibitory orders in place, the Police will initiate legal action against those groups, organisations or members of the public, who are found violating the ban orders by making attempts to organise  protests, rallies or demonstrations anywhere in the city.
