Provide entry point on Ring Road near Narayana Hospital

July 24, 2017

Sir,

The other day one of my relatives complained of chest pain and we immediately shifted him to Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Mysuru, via Ring Road.

To our surprise, when we approached the hospital, we went further half-a-kilometer to take ‘U’ turn to enter the emergency ward. It is really difficult to understand why there is no right turn near the hospital to minimise the time for admission, which is more crucial for heart patients and accident victims.

Later, I was told by the hospital staff that there is a service road, one kilometer before the hospital and those who frequently enter from Columbia Asia Hospital side are aware of this provision. They added that they are unable to fight for free entry for vehicles from this side.

Probably, had there been a restaurant, this facility would have been readily available for a price ! One really needs a serious look into this matter.
