Provide online access to MUDA maps and plans

June 4, 2022

Sir,

The CDP (City Development Plan) maps were earlier available on MUDA website but of late the online access to these maps have been removed. I find that land developers collude with officials and many times there is deviation from the approved plans.

Citizen’s access to both CDP maps and approved plans for the hundreds of layouts being formed in Mysuru should be easily available online similar to how revenue maps and records are available online.

Getting hold of these maps and plans physically from MUDA office is a herculean task. An open transparent access to these records is very critical to ensure that the city grows in a proper and organised way as it’s only the informed citizens who are the final check and balance in the system. I request the authorities concerned to please work towards making this possible.
