In addition to the simple Dasara celebration in the heritage city of Mysuru, one of the ancient art forms of the puppetry called Rod Puppets has been organised by Mysuru Puppet Theatre (MPT) at its premises in JC Nagar, Chamundi Hill Main Road, from Oct. 8 to Oct. 15 every day from 6 pm to 7 pm. 

Episodes chosen from the BhagavataPurana and selected stories of Sri Krishnaparijata, Sri Krishnatulabhara and Narakasuravade will be presented at the show.
