Quality Conclave – 2026 held at JSS AHER

As a step towards quality empowerment in higher education, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Quality Division of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, had organised Quality Conclave-2026 at Sri Rajendra Auditorium, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, recently.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. B. Suresh, Pro-Chancellor, JSS AHER, emphasised that quality is a moral responsibility and highlighted the importance of trust, accountability and continuous improvement in fostering institutional excellence.

Presenting the conclave overview, Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, VC, JSS AHER, stressed that quality is a continuous journey and a strategic imperative for excellence in education, research, healthcare and societal service.

Dr. Prashant M. Vishwanath, Dean (Research), highlighted the pivotal role of IQAC in accreditation, quality assurance, strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

The conclave featured expert sessions by Dr. Maheshwar Peri, Founder-Chairman, Careers360, who highlighted the role of institutional rankings in enhancing academic quality & informed student decision-making.

S. Raghavan, Associate Director, Government and Public Services, KPMG in India, shared strategic perspectives on balancing quality with institutional growth and expansion.

Dr. S. Hemamalini, Professor and Director, RAAC, VIT Chennai, emphasised sustainable quality practices and the need to prioritise qualitative outcomes in higher education.

The conclave concluded with a call to strengthen quality-driven practices, innovation, accountability and community engagement in higher education.

Dr. K. Pushpalatha welcomed the gathering. Dr. Deepa compered the programme. Dr. K.  Sumana proposed a vote of thanks.
