R. Basavanna (29), a resident of Gujjegowdanapura on H.D. Kote Road, passed away at a private hospital in city this morning following cardiac arrest.

He leaves behind his father Ramanna, mother Rajamma, brothers Mahadevaswamy and Chandrashekar and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Gujjegowdanapura today.
