Rail Museum closed for renovation from today

Mysuru: The Rail Museum, Mysuru, will undergo renovation and the related development works will be started from today.

Hence, the Rail Museum will be closed for the visitors with effect from Mar.7, 2019 until further notice, according to a press release from Dr. S.G. Yatish, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager and PRO, South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru Division.

Increase in frequency of Train: SWR has decided to increase the frequency of Train No.12090/12089 Shimoga Town-Yesvantpur-Shimoga Town Janshatabdi Express from four days a week to six days a week with the existing timings, Composition and stoppages.

The increase in frequency will come into effect from Mar.7 ex Shimoga Town and Yesvantpur.

Existing days of service ex Yesvantpur and Shimoga Town — Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Increasing days of service ex Yesvantpur and Shimoga Town — Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
