Mysuru: City’s Suraksha… Swaraksha, like the previous four editions, will be conducting Raksha Bandhan Utsav along with Independence Day celebrations tomorrow (Aug.15) at Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala premises in Saraswathipuram. 

The programme will begin with hoisting of National Flag at 8 am by Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji. This will be followed by cultural programmes by the students. 

Later, a special programme has been organised to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. 

Following this, students of Raghuleela Sangeetha Shale will render devotional songs, students of Natya Samskruthi Kala Nikethana will present dance ballet and yoga students will perform yoga dance.

MLA S.A. Ramdas will inaugurate ‘Jala Raksha – Vruksha Raksha,’ a programme on conservation of water and trees at 11 am.
