Ramakrishna Vidyashala teacher passes away

Mysuru: S.V. Ramaswamy (87), Science teacher at Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala in Yadavagiri and a resident of Paramahamsa Road in the same locality, passed away this morning at his residence.

He leaves behind his wife Shantha Ramaswamy, daughter Usha and a host of students, relatives and friends.

A strict disciplinarian, Ramaswamy served as Science teacher since the Vidyashala was founded in 1953 and continued to serve the students even after his retirement. Last rites will be performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this evening.

Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, President of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Swami Yuktheshanandaji, Head of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, teachers and staff have condoled the death of Ramaswamy.
