Ramdas accuses Congress Govt. of voter-list rigging; seeks probe

November 4, 2017

Mysuru:  Former Minister S.A. Ramdas has sought a judicial probe into what he described as ‘voters list capturing or voters list rigging.’ He alleged that the State Government was misusing its powers to get officials to delete the names of voters from the voters list by citing that they are either dead or have relocated so as to facilitate the victory of the Congress in the ensuing 2018 Assembly election.

Parading the voters who have been “declared dead” before media at a private hotel in city yesterday, Ramdas claimed that the ruling party ensured the deletion of thousands of names from voters list in BJP-dominated wards in its desperate bid to win the Assembly elections.

“The BJP has tracked the deletion and addition of voters’ names in Nanjangud during the last by-polls and now, the Congress government is misusing the administrative machinery to delete voters’ names in Krishnaraja, Chamaraja and Narasimharaja constituencies in Mysuru city and also Chamundeshwari constituency where Chief Minister Siddharamaiah is likely to contest,” he said.

Ramdas alleged the hand of K.R. MLA M.K. Somashekar of the Congress in the irregularities in K.R. Constituency list. Alleging that 4,794 voters in K.R., 5,642 voters in Chamaraja, 3,416 voters in N.R. and 11,212 voters in Chamundeshwari constituency were deleted from the voter list in a hurried manner, the BJP leader lashed out at the Congress saying that the ruling party had indulged in voter-list capturing and voter-list rigging.

Claiming that the Congress legislators were specifically targeting BJP pocket boroughs while deleting names from the voters’ list, the former Minister warned that he would wage a legal battle if the irregularities were not corrected.

Urging the government to order a probe into the “manipulation” of the voter list and deletion of names in violation of the People’s Representation Act, Ramdas said the probe should also reveal those who permitted the deletion and those who are involved in it.

Alleging that the Congress has got names deleted from the voter list based on intelligence report which pointed to a BJP victory, he said a special drive should be conducted to include genuine voters in the list.

Teachers and anganawadi workers used as booth-level officers are being “misused” to favour the ruling Congress party as they were asked to delete the names in 148 out of 223 booths that gave the BJP a lead in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, he said.

Exhibiting 3,000 applications filled by one person alone, he alleged that names were deleted by either claiming that the voters had shifted their homes or passed away, though, in fact, many of them are still alive and living at the same addresses. The voters whose names are deleted from the list declaring they were “dead” were also paraded before the media. These voters will also lodge criminal and cheating cases with the Police for name deletion, he said.

Tracing the origin of the episode in the three Assembly constituencies of the city, Ramdas said that, “MLA Somashekar has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner on July 28, seeking deletion of the ‘unauthorised’ names in the voters list. On July 29, the DC has written a letter to the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner, directing him to take measures to revise the voters’ list, citing the MLA’s letter. In the letter dated August 4, the MCC Commissioner has directed his Zonal Commissioners, Revenue Officers, and Assistant Revenue Officers to verify the voters list and to report within 15 days, again citing the MLA’s letter.”

“Except the Election Commission and the voters concerned, nobody is authorised to seek a revision of the voters’ list. By asking the DC to revise the voters’ list, the MLA has violated the law. By following the MLA’s directions, both the DC and the MCC Commissioner and their subordinate officials have erred. No procedure has been followed and the process has been completed in a hurry. So, a complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission (EC) in this connection on Oct. 13. Even as the EC was probing the complaint, the Tahsildar in the MCC, responsible for election work, has been transferred to Chikkaballapura,” he pointed out. He said that he will initiate a legal battle against the rigging from Nov. 7.

“Dead” voter sends vadas

Veena, a roadside chat vendor in Vidyaranyapuram, sent vadas to MLA Somashekar for listing her as dead in the voter- list. Stating that she is alive selling chats, Veena couriered vadas to the local legislator along with a photocopy of Aadhaar and Voter ID cards.

Congress is good and only good in fixing their image! They think that is fixable by any means! They have been great propaganda people for six decades and reeled in majority of media! That is the reason why Siddu and Rahul’s moronic musics are printed as majority news and absolute truth! Can anybody believe Rahul said recently that Modi fixed the India’s ratings at the world bank ? Just like they all said Bjp and RSS killed Gauri Lankesh! Or still worse, that RSS killed Gandhi!! Just like the EVM tampering story! Congress is so much buried their heads in Modi hatred that they are ready to say anything bizzare as the truth and media being their loyal customer ready to publish it as a fact! That proves that Media’s Acche Din is only in congress coming back to power. Now they have started rigging the voter list! Why not? Congress is only strong in very few states! If this could not be done. Then their six decades of voterList rigging will be useless

    Dear Rahul,

please make some time and check out Mr. Ramdas house in Gokulam, opposite to Rotary school, you will wonder how hard he worked being a minister for 5 years that even congress leaders could not do it in 60 years …

Even though, nobody has heard of Modi’s family details, let us think your figures are correct. How did Modi travelled across India during Loksabha elections by helicopters, planes and luxury cars for almost 1 year before the elections? Moreover what happened by his ‘note ban’ order ? who became the beneficiaries ? the entire black money became white! Who got punished?
Today in Mysore itself we know who have made illegal wealth in real estate and money laundering business. Have they been punished? What about Reddy’s ? He got clean chit during Modi’s period and got out of jail with the help of CBI. Ambani launched Jio mobile schemes to make his black money into white.

    1. Somabhai Modi (75), retired from the post of an inspector in public health department. Today, he lives in a small house in
    2. Amrutbhai Modi (72), retired as a factory worker in 2005. At that time, he was drawing a salary of mere Rs 10,000 per month. Today, he lives in a small apartment in Ahmedabad with his son and daughter-in-law.
    3. Prahlad Modi (64), runs a ration shop and is somehow able to make his ends meet.
    4. Pankaj Modi (58), is an employee in Information department of Gujarat government. He is relatively well placed, and owns a decent 3-bedroom apartment in Gandhinagar.
Do you know who the people mentioned above are ? They are OWN brothers of India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Except one, the brothers of Prime Minister do not own a car, have not traveled in an aeroplane and belong to the lower middle class – all this, despite the brother being the Chief Minister of the state for 12 years and then the Prime Minister of India already since the last 3 years.
    ———
Now, have a look at other Modis. They are the FIRST COUSINS of Prime Minister Modi – i.e. sons of Narendra Modi’s own uncle (Narsinhdas Modi was brother of Damodardas Modi)…
    5. Bhogilal Modi (67) runs a grocery shop.
    6. Arvind Modi (64) works as a scrap dealer.
    7. Bharatbhai Modi (55) is an attendant at Petrol Pump and fills petrol in vehicles (He is NOT the owner, just an attendant). His salary is a meagre Rs 6000 per month and it is difficult for him to live even a comfortable life. His wife sells fruits, vegetables and home-made food items to earn another Rs 3000 a month.
    8. Ashok Modi (51) sells kite and snacks from a 8ft x 4 ft shop on the roadside with a tin roof ! He earns about Rs 5000 per month. His wife is a helper at a food outlet and does menial jobs to earn another Rs 3000 per month.
    ———–
Today, even if someone becomes an MLA (leave aside MP or Minister), his/her brothers, cousins and whole families get jobs, business, contracts of their choice. Their income increases manifolds just within years. Here is a family, whose brother has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat for 12 years at a stretch and the Prime Minister of India since last 3 years. They are still struggling to live a decent life ! Narendra Modi has not passed on any form of undue benefit to even his own family. But Rahul accuses him of favoriting Ambani and Adani who were financed during congress regimes
His mother goes on an auto-rickshaw to banks, temples, hospitals and for voting !

Now contrast it with the family of India’s first prime minister. Look at the status of every son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law of the family. The whole country knows about them and their deeds

Do you have the proof for all your accusations? Anytbing? Or just hunch like the killers of Gauri Lankesh murder!? If you have any evidence about either of them that ModI or BJP or RSS did it, Siddu will carry you on his shoulder all the way to meet Sonia and you will be a primary candidate in the next loksabha ticket from congress!
We need argue that ModI is unfit to be the PM because he has not helped his own people, what can the people of india can expect him?
Also, Rahul has already accused Modi that he has bribed world Bank to give a favorable rating! That means he globalized corruption that was local to India during Congress rsgime,
