Former Minister S.A. Ramdas hit the streets in Ward Numbers 1, 6, 7, 9 and 20 in Nanjangud on Wednesday as part of election campaign for the ensuing Assembly by-election.

Addressing the people at Halladakeri, he highlighted the welfare programmes announced by the Central Government and also the failures of the present State Government.

He also announced that the BJP candidate and former Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad would file his nomination papers on Mar. 20.  

City Municipal Council Vice-President Pradeep, Member Girish, BJP District Rural Vice Presidents S. Mahadevaiah, K.K. Jayadev, Ashok, N.R. Krishnappa Gowda and others took part in the poll campaign and sought support for Prasad.
