Rashtriya Lok Adalat held

A day-long Rashtriya Lok Adalat organised under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Mysuru, began in city this morning.

The Lok Adalat is being held at all the 32 Court Halls in the City Court Complex and as well at the new Court building at Jayanagar.

Civil, criminal cases that can be compromised, motor vehicle accident claims and other such cases, which can be compromised are being taken up at the Lok Adalat in the presence of both the parties.

While most of the road accident cases and family dispute cases were taken up for disposal at the New Court building in Jayanagar, the rest of the disputes are being taken up at the City Court Complex for disposal through a compromise between the warring parties, it is learnt.
