Ratna Srinivasan (83), Founder of Institute of Mother and Deaf Child, Bogadi and daughter of late Janardhana Iyengar, passed away on Jan.1 in USA.

Married to late Wg.Cdr. K.K. Srinivasan, she leaves behind two sons, daughter-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

She along with her husband, had founded the Institute of Mother and Deaf Child in Bogadi here where a large number of children with hearing impairment were benefited, according to a press release from A. Dinakara Shetty, Secretary of Parents’ Association of Deaf Children, Mysuru.
