Redress frequent power outage in Yadavagiri

September 11, 2019

Sir,

I bear out B.S. Srikantaiah’s grievance about the frequent and chronic power outage throughout Yadavagiri (SOM dated Sept. 4). Consumers have to put up with the inconvenience as the CESC officials show indifference towards their complaints and come up with some lame excuses to explain away the poor service.

It is time for remedial action to redress the grievances as the CESC collects heavy tariffs for supply of electricity besides making consumers shell out additional security deposits annually. One does not know where those deposits go. Will those responsible for running the Company explain?
