Mysore/Mysuru: In an effort to safeguard environment and create awareness about cleanliness among  youths, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC)  has organised environment reels (parisara reels) contest for College students.

The competition provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity and an opportunity to join hands in making Mysuru the cleanest city in the country.

 The topics: 1. Waste segregation at source, 2. Creating awareness among those littering in public places, 3. Banning single-use plastic and 4. Reuse of water.

The duration of the reels must not exceed a minute; the video should not contain elements that harm or promote any individual, organisation, political party, caste or religion.

The first prize winner will get Rs. 5,000, second prize – Rs. 3,000 and third prize – Rs. 2,000. Besides top 10 reels will be showcased at an exhibition to be organised by MCC. Interested students can submit their reels to WhatsApp No. 99723 – 91577 before Dec.30.
