Railway Board has approved the regularisation of special train services running between Mysuru and SMVT Bengaluru as regular passenger train service. These trains will now operate with regular train numbers, ensuring improved convenience and reliability for passengers.
Accordingly, Train No. 06269/06270 Mysuru-SMVT Bengaluru-Mysuru Special will be regularised as Train No. 56231/56232 Mysuru-SMVT Bengaluru-Mysuru Passenger.
Train No. 56231 Mysuru-SMVT Bengaluru Passenger will run daily with effect from 5.6.2026, while Train No. 56232 SMVT Bengaluru-Mysuru Passenger will run daily with effect from 6.6.2026.
These trains will continue to operate with the existing timings, stoppages, composition and maintenance pattern as already in force.
Temporary Stoppage at Dornahalli Halt
To facilitate devotees attending Annual Feast of St. Antony’s Basilica, South Western Railway (SWR) has approved a temporary one-minute stoppage of four Express trains at Dornahalli Halt Station from June 11 to 14.
The details of the trains and timings are as follows:
Train No. 16225 Mysuru-Shivamogga Town Express will arrive at 10.42 am and departs at 10.43 am. Train No. 16226 Shivamogga Town-Mysuru Express will arrives at 3.50 pm and departs at 3.51 pm.
Train No. 16222 Mysuru-Talguppa Express will arrives at 2.35 pm and departs at 2.36 pm. Train No. 16221 Talguppa-Mysuru Express will arrives at 1.57 pm and departs at 1.58 pm, according to a press release.
