Regulate traffic on Kalidasa Road

April 13, 2022

Sir,

While supporting K. Chandrahas’ view points, I have to add that during 2007-2008 there were sign boards erected on Kalidasa Road showing the speed limits to drive on this busy stretch but they are vanished, perhaps.

Therefore, it can be suggested that the provision of making this  stretch a ‘speed limit zone’ may please be reactivated and strictly enforced by the Traffic Police to make this “memory lane of the city,” which has the footprints of well-known writer R.K. Narayan and Poet Laureate Kuvempu, safe and walkable for the tax-paying citizens.
