Remembering Pranab Mukherjee

September 3, 2020

Sir,

I had the good fortune of meeting and sharing the platform with our late President Pranab Mukherjee twice.

First time it was at Tirupati when the book ‘Gold Coins in the Srivari Hundi of Lord Sri Venkatesvara’ of which I was one of the authors, was released. At that time I only garlanded him.

The second time was at Bengaluru when the digital version of Bhavan’s Journal for the years 1954-2016, which was released at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru Kendra, along with other distinguished dignitaries. I was on the dais and spoke about the digitised version of Bhavan’s Journal.

In his speech, Pranab Mukherjee complimented me and others for bringing out the digitised version. May his soul rest in peace.
