Replace cement signboards with steel boards

August 6, 2017

Sir,

I am a resident of J.P. Nagar 7th Cross, ‘E’ Block, next to Sai Baba Temple Road. The cement signboards indicating the Cross, Main and House Nos. are in a bad condition — some of them are not visible and in some signboards letters are completely faded making it difficult for people in locating the houses.

One of the signboards erected on this road in Kannada “Nachanahalli Kuppaluru Third Stage” is broken into half and iron rods supporting the board is clearly visible. In my opinion, instead of erecting cement block signboards it is better to install steel signboards, like in many other layouts which are durable.

I request the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials to look into this and give a facelift to the signboards of our locality as early as possible in the interest of general public.
