For the first time, Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has selected a retired Professor for its Senior Fellowship. Prof. Mahadevi Ayyanna, retired Professor, Department of Studies in History, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, is the one who has been selected for the Senior Fellowship for the year 2019-20 to work on ‘Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Women Rights: A Historical Study of Mysore Taluk.’ Apart from serving as a Professor, Guide, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Study Chair Director and Dean-Academic at KSOU, she has successfully presented paper at various National and International Conferences.
