Mysuru: Mysore Science Foundation (MSF), as part of its Monthly Science Lecture Series, has organised the 60th lecture on “Future Man” on Mar. 17 at Maneyangala, Kalamandira premises at 5.30 pm.

Profile: Dr. C.R. Sathya is a Mechanical engineer with specialisation in Advanced Material technology.
He has nearly 50 years of experience in ISRO and TATA group in designing and developing various composite parts for ISRO, Defence and Aircraft programmes. After his PG training in Nuclear Sciences and Technology at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay, he commenced his professional career under Dr. Abdul Kalam as a Rocket Engineer at Thumba Equatorial Rocket Station Thiruvananthapuram (now ISRO).
Sathya’s photograph carrying a rocket nose cone on a bicycle at Thumba Rocket Station is now an iconic picture in media. Thumba became Vikram Sarabahi Centre later and here Sathya established ISRO’s Composite Technology Group which now gives all the key Composite products for ISRO’s Satellites and PSLV/GSLV launch vehicles.
