Retired Professor Lakshmi Rangaswamy passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: Prof. Lakshmi Rangaswamy (75), retired Professor at Teresian College and a resident of Alanahalli Layout, passed away following a heart attack on Monday night in city.

She leaves behind her husband retired Police Officer J.B. Rangaswamy, son Deepak Jebar, daughter Divya Jebar and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held tomorrow (Apr. 23) at 12.30 pm at the foot of Chamundi Hill after the arrival of Deepak and Divya from the United States.

The body of Prof. Lakshmi has been kept at St. Joseph’s Hospital’s cold storage unit in Bannimantap here and will be shifted to the residence after the arrival of her children.
